Code we can all build on.
We publish the tools we build for our own products, so teams in Cameroon and across Africa don't have to solve the same problems twice. Take them, use them, improve them.
Why we publish
Fewer reinvented wheels
The plumbing we needed for our own products is the plumbing other teams here need too. Solving it once is enough.
Better software
Code written to be read in public gets reviewed properly, documented properly and tested properly.
Local capacity
Students and junior developers learn from real production code, and can make a first contribution somewhere that matters.
What we publish
Libraries & tools
Pieces pulled out of our own products once they are useful on their own.
Starter kits
The setups we reach for at the start of a project, ready for anyone else to use.
Guides
Notes and documentation on the problems we had to work out ourselves.
Graduated experiments
Work from Wimentor Ltd Labs that we are not taking further, released instead of shelved.
What we never publish: anything containing customer or user data, credentials, or the private details of the people who use our platforms.
How to contribute
Our projects are released under the MIT licence unless a repository says otherwise.
Built something with our code?
We'd like to hear about it, and we're glad to look at contributions and questions.
